Greece’s Epirus Bank taps NCR Atleos for ATM network upgrade

Epirus Bank has joined forces with NCR Atleos to update and broaden its ATM services throughout Greece.

The arrangement will see NCR Atleos oversee the renewal of Epirus Bank’s ATM network, using its ATM as a Service (ATMaaS) model and the Cashzone network.

NCR Atleos will be responsible for various aspects of the ATM network, including site selection, installation, upkeep, and operational management.

The partnership aims to allow Epirus Bank to allocate resources to its core banking activities while NCR Atleos manages the operations of the ATMs.

Epirus Bank CEO Ioannis Vougioukas said: “We are pleased to announce our strategic partnership with NCR Atleos, a leading innovator in the financial services sector. This collaboration comes at a pivotal moment for Epirus Bank as we embark on a nationwide expansion across Greece.

“Our goal is to ensure that our customers have seamless access to banking services wherever they are, while prioritising security and convenience. Together we are ready to redefine the way banking services are delivered, making financial access more accessible for all.”

The roll-out began in November 2025, with a phased implementation expected to conclude in around three months.

New ATMs will be introduced in locations identified as “strategic” for Epirus Bank customers.

These machines will feature dual branding from both Epirus Bank and Cashzone.
